More than year ago Apple launched perfectly new and ambitious mobile platform with wide target audience. Steve Jobs called the ceremony of iPhone presentation as “reinventing the phone”. This new device became quite popular because of its complete difference from other representatives of communicators family. There was just one “but”. A lack of software turned out potential users. It was really impossible to attract customer’s attention with just a device (even given that it was really good).
According to the chronology, Apple officially announced full set of development tools and documentation for iPhone OS platform at their regular WWDC. With the launch of Application Store on 11 July hundreds of both commercial and free applications became available for owners the first and the second generation iPhone devices. GPS and 3G are onboard now. New firmware and API for developers gave birth for brilliant ideas and numerous success stories were written.
